The 2021 Courage Gin Challenge champion, "Chiao," takes its name as a starting point, a gentle greeting. Born in late autumn, its label reflects the softness and brightness of life's beginnings with golden orange and warm red. The flavors unfold with juniper and coriander seeds, followed by delicate floral and fruity aromas of rose and blueberry. Milk, licorice, and goat's milk build up a warm depth, finally settling on a calm finish of patchouli and fruity sage. The vanilla is sweet and smooth, with a long finish, as peaceful and pure as a sleeping baby.

Chiao – taken from my name "Li Yongqiao," pronounced similarly to "Ciao," which is a gentle greeting in Italian. The bright red "hi" represents my smiling greeting to you.

I was born in autumn, and this gin was conceived and born in late autumn. I was two months pregnant at the time, and it was like a little life growing alongside me. Therefore, I used the colors of autumn as the theme for the label—golden orange, warm red, and soft pink—to show people that autumn is not just bleak, but can also be so soft and bright. I often call it "Buckwheat Baby." Newborn, she carries a delicate scent of baby powder and a gentle milky aroma. On the palate, there is the warmth of Oriental Doctor's milky aroma, the heart notes unfold a sweet fruity aroma like a baby's smile, and finally, patchouli finishes, allowing the aroma to slowly calm down, as peaceful as the scent of a sleeping baby.
