Developed by He Li Brewery in collaboration with Golden Wheat and the startup Soul & Spirits, this beer uses "Fire Extinguisher," a herbal tea-flavored beer, as its base, preserving the aroma of malt and grassy notes. It is then infused with juniper berries and Taiwanese terroir ingredients to create layers of herbal spice and woody notes. The palate is smooth and rounded, with licorice and macadamia intertwined, and a lingering, subtly sweet finish, showcasing a Taiwanese-style gin that blends collaboration and memories of the land.

The Story

This beer is a collaboration between He Li Brewery, Golden Wheat, and the startup Soul & Spirits. The base spirit is distilled using Golden Wheat's herbal tea-flavored beer "Fire Extinguisher," resulting in a malt wine that retains the aroma of malt and the flavor of fresh herbs. The flavoring was designed by Soul & Spirits, blending classic gin ingredients such as juniper berries and coriander seeds, and cleverly incorporating representative Taiwanese ingredients—horsehair, wild onion, ginger, and bamboo leaves—to showcase a rich local terroir.
